Delena is out
the door, but the rest of the house is still asleep.
Scratch that.
I just heard little footsteps over my head, so someone is awake, probably
stumbling out of bed to turn on the TV, then fall back in for a few more
minutes.
The snow has
stopped, but there are still freezing temps outside, so it's a bit
treacherous. The jeep was unstuck as of last night, so that's good.
With warmer temperatures coming, I am hopeful for a thaw and temporary
reprieve before the next snowfall comes.
My computer
is broken for the time being. I'm updating on Delena's, so I won't
be around much today. I'll check mail from time to time.
Evidently, my
computer thinks it's permanently asleep (which means dead, I think).
Maybe just a coma. The computer lights come on, but the monitor
says "no signal." I cleaned all of the connections, but even though
the monitor is getting power, it's not getting a signal. My
techies, Eric and David, will look it over in the next few days.
It'll get going somehow.
Meanwhile, I
guess it's time for a bit of a break. Like I said, I will be
checking email from time to time and posting new columns as they come in,
but I won't be haunting the computer chair as I usually do.
If I don't
talk to you before, have a brilliant weekend and by all means, be
particular.
Hugs!
Who I am: I started my life as Katrina
Marie Chapman and it was promptly learned that my beloved grandfather was
unable to pronounce my name, so I became Kathy Chapman. When I
married my first husband, I became Kathy Humphrey. When we divorced
and later remarried, I was still Kathy Humphrey, but I started using my
legal name with my new job as a preschool administrator and became
Katrina Humphrey. Then I married Eric Rasbold and became Katrina
Rasbold. Here, I'm just me. |
