Have you ever had a dream during the night and it somewhat came true?? Last week that's exactly what happened to me.

I have many acquaintances and very few friends. So since my schedule during the day is very flexible, I am the natural choice many people ask to do "lunch." One of my many acquaintances called and we set up a date for lunch. She has a very interesting life. She is one of those people who is always invited to the "in" parties. I love hearing her tell me all the great stuff that happens. She was sharing a story about an annual Halloween party she and her husband attend. However, this year they decided not to attend it. The hosts are people who are very friendly with the royalty of Las Vegas.  She happened to see the photos of the Halloween event and who should be there but, Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. She was beyond angry at herself for not attending this year event. I am listening and drooling over her story and I then tell her, "You know I really want to meet Bill and Hillary." We both laughed and then we went on to another conversation.

That night I fell asleep and don't you know I dreamed of meeting Bill. Now, I was not wearing a blue stained dress and my name isn't Monica. However, in this crazy dream, he is walking nearby (where I am not sure) and there are no secret service people. I was stunned and said, "Mr. Clinton, is that you?" He answered, "Yes, it is." With that, I proceeded to ask him if I could have a photo taken with him with my only object with me that would take a photo and that was my cell phone. A bystander agreed to take the photo. However, all that showed up in the photo was my butt. We took another one and he left.

Fast forward two days later when my luncheon friend called and told me that the Clintons would be at a nearby school that evening and would I like to go. Side note: Nevada had their first caucus and all the candidates were having rallies. We went to the JHS near her home. We made our own parking space because the crowd was huge. We got in and sat second row. I took video and still photos. Without getting political here, Hillary's speech was great.

The end of her speech came and the entire Clinton family worked each side of the auditorium.  I got up close shook all three Clintons, talked to them for a second each and Bill and Hillary signed my poster. I never thought  I would meet the ex-President and perhaps our future President. I am still walking around with a smile on my face. Even though I didn't get a photo with Bill, I still believe my dream came true.

I guess if you believe hard enough, we all have a shot at making all our dreams come true.

Talk about positive energy! Yes even my luncheon friend is smiling today. We both were able to make this one dream a reality.

Like the song says, If you don't have a dream, then making dreams is the hardest thing to do.

Live today as if it's your final day and make all your wishes a reality.

Love, Maxine
