General Hospital Commentary For the Week of September 8, 2008

Jason warns Maxie to mind her own business.

C: And I bet Maxie waves her hand in the air, saying “Pfft” and continues to not mind her own business.

K: Yeah, like that’s going to happen in the Penthouse of Talking Mobsters.

Sonny and Carly try to justify their night of passion.

C: Yeah, I bet that works well for them too. Not.

K: “It was dark. We were in the back of a limo. We couldn’t help it.” Would you buy into any of that?

Maxie finds herself in danger once again.

C: Spinelli to the rescue! Maybe she’ll start to see him in a new light. I actually am starting to like Maxie with Spinelli and Lulu. I’m not a big fan of any of them individually but collectively they work for me. Funny how that happens.

K: Maxie and Nadine should hook up to become the Dynamic Duo of S**t Happens To Us.

Carly begs Jax NOT to walk out on her.

C: If he’s smart he won’t walk out on her. He’ll fun.

K: Maybe he’ll stick and just walk around all sanctimonious since Jax already went to Europe for Ingo’s recent paternity leave.

Maxie crawls into bed next to Spinelli.

C: Does she start to sing, “I see London. I see France...”?

K: Poor Spinelli, always the teddy bear, never the sex machine.

Johnny tells Nikolas to get Lulu out of the country before she’s called to testify.

C: I don’t particularly like Johnny. I don’t dislike him either. I really have no feeling about him at all (except that I hate the wife beater t-shirts he wears) but I do admire that he’s so devoted to keeping Lulu safe.

K: Where’s the fun in that? I’d rather watch Lulu find her sanity talking to Laura.

Samantha is determined to get the goods on Jerry.

C: Uh oh, our cable has been broken for two weeks. I started a new full time job last week and I barely paid attention to the few weeks before that so I don’t know who Samatha is. I think maybe she’s that cute blond attorney but I really don’t know for sure. Remind me to pay better attention, please.

K: You know, I don’t think it’s ever been determined just what kind of goods Jerry possesses.

Maxie is ashamed to face Spinelli after her testimony on the witness stand.

C: If there is anyone she shouldn’t be ashamed to face, it’s Spinelli. He is the all-forgiving and can find something good about a termite so really, she shouldn’t worry.

K: I wonder if she gets up there and talks about wild sex with Spinelli.

Robin starts to change her mind about marriage.

C: Yeah, I’ve done that a time or two unfortunately it’s too late. I’m in it for the long haul!

K: Gee, ya think? No surprises here.

Sonny tries to win back Kate.

C: I hope he fails miserably at it, too.

K: “No, really, that was the LAST time with Carly. Really.”

Jason pushes Elizabeth away.

C: SSDD.

K: His mouth says no, no, no but his eyes and expressions say yes, yes, yes.

Anthony and Trevor have a trick up their sleeves.

C: A bunny? A two sided coin? Plastic or silk flowers? Who knew they shared a hobby!

K: Bet it’s not a bouquet of flowers or a cute little bunny rabbit either.

Jason tries to get through to Elizabeth.

C: Jason ought to learn there is no ‘getting through’ to a woman who’s got her mind made up. It will save him a lot of time, that’s for sure.

K: No, no, no – yes, yes, yes.
